From ocean container to inland delivery

Transloading connects an inbound container with the equipment needed for its next move. Tell us whether the cargo is palletized or floor-loaded, how it must be handled, and where it needs to go. Our team can align container drayage, unloading and outbound transportation through the partner network.

Storage that fits your product and schedule

Discuss short- or long-term storage, inbound frequency, inventory size and release patterns with Iron Rock. Facility suitability depends on your commodity, packaging, handling requirements and capacity. Temperature-controlled options can be explored for products that require them.

Build the distribution process around your customer

Cross-docking, deconsolidation, pick and pack, labeling and fulfillment can be coordinated with warehouse partners. Share order profiles, carton or pallet counts, customer labeling instructions and delivery windows so receiving and shipping expectations can be agreed before freight arrives.

Regional relationships. Broader connections.

Iron Rock Holdings LLC is an independent, Kirkland-based company and a business partner of SEI Acquisition, LLC, a MEDLOG division. Services and capacity are confirmed for each shipment through the relevant partners.

A FEW PRACTICAL ANSWERS

Planning your next move

Does Iron Rock own every warehouse in its network?

Iron Rock coordinates warehousing through partner facilities. The team confirms the selected facility, available services and operating requirements for your shipment or distribution program.

What is the difference between transloading and cross-docking?

Transloading transfers freight between transportation equipment, such as from an ocean container to a domestic trailer. Cross-docking organizes inbound freight for an outbound movement with little or no planned storage. A program may use both.

Can you combine drayage, storage and delivery?

Yes, these services can be planned together through Iron Rock’s network. Share the complete origin-to-destination requirement so the team can confirm facilities, capacity and handoffs.
